Less than 24 hours after it was revealed the Wolf Pack was headed to Milwaukee for its NCAA Tournament game, six of the seven flights from Reno to Milwaukee on Wednesday had sold out.
Nevada is expected to have a nice-sized crowd at its first-round game against Iowa State on Thursday, but it will likely be one of the smallest groups of the eight teams in Milwaukee this week.
That’s because regionally closer teams like Purdue, Minnesota, Butler and Iowa State are all within a six-hour drive.
“We’re going to sell our allotment, which is about 350 tickets,” Nevada athletic director Doug Knuth said.
