Nevada quarterback Kaymen Cureton played well enough in his first college start to get a second.
The Wolf Pack true freshman, who made his debut in Nevada’s 30-28 loss to Idaho State last Saturday, will start again this Saturday when the team travels to No. 18-ranked Washington State, from the Pac-12.
“KC’s going to start,” coach Jay Norvell said after Monday’s practice. “He’s a wild horse back there running around. He should learn a lot from his first start. He really did a good job on third down. He made some plays with his feet and he scrambled, pulled up and threw and hit open receivers.
