Notes: Mitchell snaps Pack's 17-year kickoff TD drought

TUCSON, Ariz. – News and notes from the Wolf Pack’s 28-22 win over Colorado State on Tuesday.

* Nevada CB/KR Elijah Mitchell returned a first-half kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown, the Wolf Pack's first since Del Bates went 89 yards for a score against Boise State on Oct. 31, 1998. Mitchell caught the ball that appeared to be going out of bounds on the right side of the field and went untouched for the score. Mitchell’s kick return score was Nevada’s first in 215 games and first in 736 kickoff returns.
