Northern Nevada prep players making impact on MW

LAS VEGAS – In the Northern Nevada high school football world, sending two players to the FBS level as scholarship players in one season is usually considered a success.

But the 2016 class outdid that by double. The 2016 class sent four players to the FBS level, with all four landing in the Mountain West. Nevada and Fresno State both scooped up one and San Diego State nabbed two.

The Aztecs, which posted a perfect MW record last season and is the favorite to win the conference this season, has consistently recruited Northern Nevada in recent years.
