The Nevada basketball team is fifth in one major poll, sixth in the other — and first in the nation in offense.
Through games played Wednesday, the Wolf Pack had the best offense of all the 353 Division I teams in the country, according to KenPom.com. Through its 7-0 start to the season, Nevada compiled an adjusted offensive efficiency rating of 122.1 — meaning the Pack was scoring at a rate just over 122 points per 100 possessions (the rating adjusts for opponents played).
