ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The Nevada women’s basketball team concluded the regular season with a 66-42 loss at New Mexico on Friday. The Wolf Pack will face Utah State on Monday in the opening round of the Mountain West Tournament.
It was a tight knit battle for three quarters as the Wolf Pack (5-24, 4-14 MW) kept the game within reach. The Lobos (16-13, 9-9 MW) maintained a slight advantage heading into the final quarter, 44-39.
But the Pack suffered through one of its worst quarters of the season in the final 10 minutes. Nevada scored a season-low three points and was held to zero made field goals (0-of-12).
