The Nevada basketball team’s run to the Sweet 16 won’t prove to be a huge money-maker for the school in terms of pure revenue but it did help create almost $5 million for the Mountain West.
The Wolf Pack, which beat Texas in the first round and Cincinnati in the second round before falling to Loyola Chicago in last week's Sweet 16, grabbed three crucial NCAA Tournament “units” for the MW.
