Wolf Pack offensive lineman Austin Corbett, a Reed High graduate, is one of 10 national semifinalists for the Burlsworth Trophy, which honors the most outstanding college football player who began his career as a walk-on.

Corbett joins some elite company in the semifinalist list and is one of two players from the Mountain West to make the cut.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pound Corbett joined the Wolf Pack as a walk-on in 2013 before earning his scholarship and starting role with the Union. The trophy is named after Brandon Burlsworth, a former Arkansas offensive lineman who earned All-American honors after beginning his career as a walk-on.
