BERKELEY, Calif. – The Nevada women’s track & field team claimed three first place finishes and eight top three finishes Saturday at the Cal Opener.
In the high jump, Kinsey Minter’s jump of 5 feet-9.25 inches was good for first and tied her personal record, which is third on the Nevada all-time list. Leah Carter, with a jump of 5 feet-5.75 inches, claimed second.
Fiyin Olusola brought Nevada’s second victory of the day in the 100-meter hurdles. The junior posted a time of 13.81 seconds.
In the javelin, Nevada’s four throwers were in the top six.
