Nevada women back near full strength as it begins four-game road trip at Air Force

The Nevada women’s basketball team is coming off an impressive outing and is getting back to full strength in time for the last few weeks of the season with the return of Dom Phillips.

The Wolf Pack, which blew past Boise State, 64-44, last Sunday, has its leading returning scorer back in the sophomore Phillips. She averaged 6.6 points last season.

She missed a year after suffering a knee injury in Jan. 2020 and was cleared to return earlier this month.

Phillips was named to the MW All-Freshman team last season despite missing the final 13 games due to the injury.
