Nevada's wide receivers feel much more dialed in this August than they did last year at this time.
That's from having a season under coach Ken Wilson and several months getting timing down with the quarterbacks: Brendon Lewis, AJ Bianco and Shane Illingworth.
But there was a little shake-up this week as Wilson announced the resignation of Nate Costa, Nevada’s quarterbacks coach since 2022.
The Wolf Pack opens the season Sept. 2 at No. 6-ranked Southern California (3:30 p.m., TV- Pac-12 Network).
Costa reportedly left to spend more time with his family. Former Nevada quarterback Carson Strong was at Tuesday's Wolf Pack practice, not participating, but watching from the sideline.
