The Wolf Pack basketball team added some scoring punch over the weekend.
Oregon State guard Jarod Lucas announced his transfer to Nevada on Saturday in a Twitter post, giving the Pack a second transfer player in what is shaping up to be an overhauled backcourt. Elon’s Hunter McIntosh joined Nevada last week.
Lucas played for three seasons with the Beavers, including OSU’s unexpected run to the Elite 8 of the 2020-21 NCAA Tournament. He averaged 10.3 points in 95 games for the Beavers, including 12.7 and 13.5 points in the last two seasons.
Lucas is a career 38% 3-point shooter.
