The Wolf Pack football team unveiled new uniforms for the 2017 season before its spring football game last month to great acclaim from the players.
First-year coach Jay Norvell surprised his players with the uniforms to cap the end of spring camp. They have a clean look and simple design, which Norvell said he was in favor of because he's an old-school traditionalist. Some fans loved that clean look. Others did not.
The new football uniforms have a small ode to Nevada's state flag. The silver pants feature the state flag's Battle Born insignia with "BATTLE BORN" written across the side of both legs.
