SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Sophomore Chase Redington allowed only two hits and no earned runs over five innings in her first start of the season as the Nevada softball team topped Santa Clara, 10-1, in a run-rule victory on Sunday at the SCU Invitational.
The victory marked the Wolf Pack’s 11th win in a row and it improved its record to 13-2 overall. Senior Jasmine Jenkins racked up three RBIs and Megan Sweet went 3-for-4 with two runs scored.
Junior Raquel Martinez and freshman Kwynn Warner produced back-to-back walks to start off the game before Sweet hit an RBI single to center field.
