Nevada senior Stephanie Schmid earned an honorable mention in he Mountain West Conference postseason award winners
This is the first all-conference honor for Schmid.
Schmid, who is in her second season with the Wolf Pack after transferring from Arizona Western College, is Nevada’s leading scorer at 12.4 points per game. Schmid is shooting 41.0 percent from 3-point range, which ranks in the top 30 nationally. Her 64 made 3-pointers are second-most in the Mountain West.
During the Pack’s final home game of the season against San Jose State, Schmid poured in a career-high 32 points and tied the school record with eight 3-pointers made.
