Boise State got the lead early in the game and held onto it throughout in beating Nevada for the eighth straight time 73-63, in women's basketball Friday in Boise, Idaho.
Da'Ja Hamilton led Nevada with 19 points as the Wolf Pack dropped to 4-7 in the Mountain West, 8-8 overall.
Jada Loville led the defending conference tournament champions with 20 points. Reno High graduate Mallory McGwire added 12 for the Broncos as they improved to 6-5, 9-5.
The Wolf Pack held a big advantage on the glass, outrebounding Boise State by a 44-32 margin. But the Broncos forced Nevada into 15 turnovers and had seven blocked shots, while holding the Pack to 36.
