Nevada riflers shoot season-high 4666 at NCAA Qualifier

FAIRBANKS, Alaska – The 13th-ranked University of Nevada rifle team shot a season-high 4666 to land second place at the NCAA Qualifier on Saturday at the E.F. Horton Range on the University of Alaska campus. The 4666 is the second-best score in Wolf Pack history. The fifth-ranked Nanooks shot 4700 to post the top score in the event, followed by the Pack. No. 17 UTEP shot 4609 to place third.

Nevada had four shooters finish in the top 10 in air rifle. Mitchell Van Patten, Sarah Jameson and Emily Capaul all shot 589 to take spots four, five and six respectively.
