FRESNO, Calif. – The Wolf Pack’s “clean slate” looked a lot like its old self Saturday at Fresno State.
Nevada preached all week that the start of Mountain West play would bring out a different version of its team as it faced opponents more equal in personnel. Instead, a lot of the same issues that plagued the team during a win-less run through non-conference play were evident in a 41-21 loss to the Bulldogs.
Nevada fell to 0-5 for the first time since 1964 when a Dick Trachok-led Wolf Pack began the season 0-9 before winning its season finale.
