PHOENIX – The University of Nevada (2-3) men’s tennis team dropped is first match of three scheduled in Arizona, 4-1, to Grand Canyon University (5-4) at the Paseo Racquet Center on Thursday.
Nevada travels to Tucson to play Arizona (4-1) on Friday at 9 a.m. and then concludes the trip against Denver (5-2) on Saturday morning.
Nevada’s point in the match came in doubles, winning the two completed matches. Mile Cilic and Peter O’Donovan downed Mathieu Rojaonah and Adrian Legarreta 6-4 in No. 2 doubles. The No. 3 doubles match went to Ryan Andrada and Ryan Margitfalvi as they defeated Mitch Maroscher and Meidy Chazeau, 6-2.
