The rebuild for Nevada basketball took another step forward over the weekend.
Elon transfer Hunter McIntosh, a three-year star for the Phoenix, announced on Twitter Sunday plans to sign with the Wolf Pack. Nevada had not officially announced his addition to the team as of Monday.
McIntosh started in all 85 games across three seasons for Elon and averaged 13.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
As a 6-foot-2 guard, he seems likely to slot into one of the roles vacated by Grant Sherfield (who's in the transfer portal and also considering the NBA Draft) and Desmond Cambridge Jr.
