Coming off their first loss of the season, Nevada coaches and players said there were myriad reasons, but at the end, it all came down failure to execute and adapt.
Nevada (5-1) suffered its first loss of the season, 24-21, at Hawaii on Saturday night. The Wolf Pack hosts Fresno State at 7:30 p.m. Saturday (TV-FS2/ Radio-94.5 FM).
Coach Jay Norvell said Hawaii's was the fourth different defense the Wolf Pack had seen in four weeks and was effective in taking away the Pack's vaunted passing attack.
"Give Hawaii credit, they played their best game of the year, and we didn't play our best game," Norvell said.
