Make it two in a row for Nevada quarterback Carson Strong.
Strong was named as the Mountain West’s offensive player of the year for the second straight season, the conference announced Tuesday.
The Wolf Pack was also well-represented on the All-Mountain West teams, with 15 players earning a combined 16 honors. Ten players — including Strong, receiver Romeo Doubs, and tight end Cole Turner — were named All-MW for the second time.
Strong led Nevada to an 8-4 season with a Mountain West-best 4,186 passing yards and 36 touchdown passes, the most ever for a Nevada player.
