The Nevada club baseball team beat East Carolina, 7-4, on Thursday to win the National Club Baseball Association Division I World Series in Paducah, Ky.
Trailing 4-2, Nevada scored four runs in the eighth inning and one in the ninth for the win.
Trevor McElroy was the winning pitcher and Cameron Cole picked up the save.
Chris Streeter was 4-for-4 with a double and four RBIs to lead Nevada. Travis Roberts was 2-4 with a triple. Cole was 1-3 with two RBIs and Tyler Long added one RBI.
Nevada, which went 4-1 in Paducah, was playing in the tournament for the first time.
