The Nevada basketball team’s next game will feature a familiar face in what is almost always hostile territory.
After starting the season with three wins for the first time since 2006-07, the Wolf Pack’s next challenge comes Saturday at Pacific, a team led by former NBA stalwart Damon Stoudamire, who played for not one but two Musselmans during his pro career.
“We’re buddies,” Wolf Pack coach Eric Musselman said.
Stoudamire played for Portland when Musselman’s dad, Bill, was an assistant coach for the Trail Blazers from 1997-2000.
