Another puzzle piece in the future of Nevada basketball fell into place Thursday with the signing of Pittsburgh transfer Shamiel Stevenson.
Stevenson will join the Wolf Pack for the spring semester, then will sit out a year under NCAA transfer rules. He will be eligible to play after the end of the 2019 fall semester.
"We are extremely excited to add a player like Shamiel to our program,” Nevada coach Eric Musselman said in a news release. “At 6-6, 245 pounds, and with his skill set, he will fit right in as a Jordan Caroline-type player. … He is the type of player we can put in multiple mismatch situations offensively because of his size and ability with the ball.
