Nevada is on the move again.
The Wolf Pack jumped from 10thto seventh in the AP Top 25 college basketball poll released Monday, following a week in which 13 ranked teams lost at least once.
Nevada, 18-1 overall and 5-1 in Mountain West games, won twice last week. The Wolf Pack next plays Saturday against Colorado State.
Tennessee (16-1) is the new No. 1, taking over from Duke. The Volunteers were followed by Duke, Virginia, Gonzaga, and Michigan. Michigan State, one of four teams to receive a first-place vote, was sixth.
The Wolf Pack totaled 1,143 points from the 64-member poll, comfortably ahead of Kentucky’s 1,087 in eighth.
