MESA, Ariz. – The Nevada baseball team hammered Northwestern on Saturday at Sloan Park, giving coach T.J. Bruce his first career victory.
The Wolf Pack (1-2) posted an 11-2 victory for its first win of the season.
Making his first start in two years, sophomore RHP Mark Nowaczewski allowed one run and three hits in six innings to take the win on the mound. Senior Bryce Greager went 4-of-5 at the plate with a pair of RBI and runs, while sophomore TJ Friedl added three hits and three runs.
Nevada rebounded from a doubleheader loss on Friday with a dominating display on Saturday.
