Nevada athletics director Doug Knuth has been with the university for nearly six years, but Tuesday was a first for him.
Knuth conducted a wide-ranging interview with area media Tuesday at Mackay Stadium – informally called a “State of the Wolf Pack” address – touching upon a wide range of topics surrounding Nevada athletics. His talk, along with a question-and-answer session, lasted about an hour.

In addition to discussing facilities and finances, Knuth returned to a central theme many times.
