Nevada took care of business Wednesday night at Lawlor Events Center, ending Minnesota-Duluth’s unbeaten run to begin the season with a 98-62 win. It was the Wolf Pack’s first game since a Nov. 30 win over Pepperdine.
Nevada’s Grant Sherfield again flirted with a triple-double. He finished with 28 points, 12 rebounds, and nine assists, but couldn’t quite find a 10th assist in the final minutes.
Backcourt mate Desmond Cambridge Jr. finished with 25 points; center Will Baker added 17.
