Fourth quarter
Graves found a big hole and ran in from 10 yards out to cut Nevada’s lead to 24-17 with 14:38 remaining in the game. Stewart hit Andrew Celis on a big third-down conversion to get the Wolf Pack its first first down of the second half and Nevada moved into scoring territory, but Zuzo missed a 38-yard field goal to turn the ball to Cal Poly. The Mustangs then went on a seemingly never-ending drive, converting two fourth-and-1 plays in the process, before Graves scored from 1-yard out with 1:20 remaining. Cal Poly lined up for a 2-point conversion but after a false start took the extra point to knot the game at 24.
