The Nevada football team will net a $300,000 bonus when it plays at Fresno State on Nov. 5 thanks to the game being televised on ESPN2, which makes it eligible for the Mountain West TV bonus payout.
The Wolf Pack could stack up two more big bonuses later this year when it plays at Utah State and at San Diego State (if both games are picked up by ESPN or ESPN, Nevada will get $1 million more).
But even if Nevada doesn’t get those two games picked up, the Wolf Pack’s television payout from the MW will be more lucrative this season than it was in the first year of the national TV bonus system.
