Eric Musselman stood in front of a lectern inside Lawlor Events Center’s Silver and Blue Room 22 months ago and listed the reasons he had accepted the position of head basketball coach at Nevada.
Yes, the pay was comparatively low, the facilities were just OK, the recent history wasn’t great, the culture had to be turned around and the budget compared to Mountain West foes was well below average. There were plenty of cons. But, instead of those, Musselman, a glass-half-full kind of guy, searched for the pros.
“This building has been rocking,” Musselman said while standing inside the home of the Wolf Pack nearly two years ago.
