Murray's Sunday List: Top 10 local female basketball players ever
Every Sunday, Reno Gazette-Journal sports columnist Chris Murray will count down a top-10 list. This week's list counts down the top-10 female basketball players in Northern Nevada's history (since we did the men last week). To qualify for the list, you had to play basketball at a Northern Nevada high school.
Northern Nevada has an excellent history of female basketball players (more so than in the men's game), but it was easy to pinpoint who belonged atop this list. Williams is the only local female McDonald's All-American.
