Nevada coach Jay Norvell breaks down the pack's win over San Diego State and the state of the team heading into the bye week. Duke Ritenhouse, dritenhouse@rgj.com
Following enough movement for a roller-coaster last week, this edition of the RGJ’s Mountain West rankings sees almost no changes at all.
With the top five teams all holding serve (or taking the week off), attention now turns to one of the season’s key meetings — West Division-leading Fresno State (8-1 overall) at defending conference champion Boise State (7-2) on Friday night. A victory for the Bulldogs would make the West extremely difficult for anyone else to win; for the Broncos, a loss would put them two games behind Utah State in the Mountain Division standings.
