Boise State has historically been the class of the Mountain West, yet the Broncos haven’t actually won the conference title since 2019.
The 2022 version of the team appears to be in good shape to end what is, by Boise State standards, a drought. The Broncos return 16 starters, including virtually the entire defense.
As usual, though, nothing will come that easy in the Mountain Division. Air Force and Utah State should both challenge, and Colorado State could make some noise if it gets its numerous transfers to come together quickly.
