Grand Canyon got a balanced attack and a great second half to pull away from Nevada, taking an 87-77 win Friday night in men's basketball in Phoenix.
The Pack led 62-60 after an 8-0 run, but Grand Canyon then went on a 15-0 runand never trailed again.
The Pack shot 35.7 percent — 23.1 percent from 3-point range— in the second half while Grand Canyon shot 58.3 percent.
The Wolf Pack hit 46 percent for the game (27-59); while the Antelopes hit 58 percent (30-52).
Desmond Cambridge Jr. led Nevada with a season-high 24 points, including six 3-pointers, and Grant Sherfield added 16 points.
