A game of runs ended with Nevada on the right side and heading back home to begin an unusual conference play season.
Nevada led by 12 in the second half, then trailed by five, before regaining control in taking a 79-72 win over San Diego on Monday in San Diego.
Desmond Cambridge Jr., led the Pack with a career-high 27 points and Grant Sherfield also had a career-best with 25 as Nevada improved to 5-2.
"We're very blessed we got seven games in. I look at all the cancellations throughout the country and we're really fortunate," Nevada coach Steve Alford said.
