Locals in NFL: Matthews has career-best day; Kap career worst

During the season, we will track how the Wolf Pack alums in the NFL do each week, in addition to any local high school players in the league. Here is a look at their performances in week three.

* WR Rishard Matthews, Dolphins: Matthews continued his strong season as he caught six passes for 113 yards and a career-best two touchdowns in a 41-14 loss to Buffalo. Matthews, who was targeted 10 times, caught a 21-yard touchdown to get Miami on the board and added a 46-yard touchdown on a broken play on fourth down. Matthews has 16 catches for 262 yards and three scores in three games.
