Each week, we will track how the locals in the NFL performed. Here’s a look at week six of the season.
* QB Colin Kaepernick, 49ers: In his first start since Nov. 1 of last season, Kaepernick started strong but he and the team faded late in a 45-16 loss at Buffalo. Kaepernick started 5-of-7 for 103 yards and a touchdown with a near perfect passer rating but ended up going 13-of-29 for 187 yards and a score. He rushed eight times for 66 yards and posted a 70.3 QBR (out of 100). After the game, he responded to being called un-American as he continued to kneel for the national anthem.
