Nevada athletics will face a steep budget decline this year due to the Mountain West Conference postponing all fall sports to the spring.
How much of a decline remains to be seen, though.
Nevada athletic director Doug Knuth said the Wolf Pack could be looking at a more than $10 million shortfall if no football is played and the NCAA basketball tournament is canceled again in the spring.
Knuth spoke to the media Thursday about the decision earlier this week by the Mountain West board of directors to postpone fall sports.
Knuth said it was a unanimous vote.
