MILWAUKEE – The NCAA Tournament is the biggest revenue producer in college sports and raked in more than $1 billion – with a “b” – last season, but Nevada's appearance in the event isn't going to be a big money-maker for the Wolf Pack.
Nevada, which reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2007, actually made more off its CBI championship run last season than it will make off its tournament appearance this year.
The NCAA pays the conference of each team in the tournament a portion of the roughly $220 million pot.
