Hot-hitting Air Force downs Nevada baseball

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Nevada baseball team fell victim to an offensive display from Air Force on Saturday at Falcon Field. The Falcons (7-2, 2-0) scored 12 runs in the first inning and went on to hand Nevada (4-7, 0-2) an 18-4 setback.

Air Force sent 16 batters to the plate and scored 12 runs on nine hits in the first inning while Nevada had to use three pitchers just to escape the frame. The Falcons went on to score six more runs, handing Nevada it’s most decisive loss since May 12, 2013.

The Wolf Pack plated three runs in the second inning on three consecutive RBI hits.
