RGJ Sports Week, the guys talk about Wolf Pack football, basketball and prep sports. Jim Krajewski, jkrajewski@rgj.com
The Nevada football team has been checking off goals all season, and it’s got its sights set on two more big ones Saturday night.
The Wolf Pack (5-4 overall, 3-2 Mountain West) would like to send its 17 seniors out with a win in their final appearance at Mackay Stadium. And, if they do so, the team will also make itself bowl-eligible for the first time since 2015.
Visiting Colorado State (3-6, 2-3 MW) will try to prevent those things from happening, along with extending its recent dominance in the teams’ series.
