Nevada freshman golfer Travis Fredborg had the best finish of his career with a tie for 12th at the Pacific Invitational in Stockton. Calif., on Saturday.
Nevada took seventh at the tournament. Sacramento State won the team title; UC Irvine’s David Kim won medalist honors.
Fredborg shot rounds of 73 and 72 going into Saturday’s final round and closed with a 74 to finish with a 6 over 219.
Grant Booth had Nevada’s low round of the day, a 73.
