After 36 holes at the Sacramento State Invitational in Roseville, Calif., the Nevada women’s golf team is in third place in the 15-team field.
The second round experienced a 45-minute rain delay, but all 15 teams were able to complete both of their rounds before the sun went down.
The Wolf Pack compiled an opening-round team score of 302 and followed up with a 306 in round two. Its two-round total of 606 is five shots back of second-place Santa Clara. San Francisco will take the lead into the final 18 holes after finishing as the only team under 600 (594).
