Game-by-game predictions for Wolf Pack's 2016 season
The Wolf Pack football team opens its season Friday at Mackay Stadium against Cal Poly, the first of 12 regular-season games. The often heard refrain at the beginning of the season is, "We're going to take it one game at a time," so we'll do the same thing today and predict Nevada's season one game at a time. Here are my projections for how the Wolf Pack's 2016 football season will play out.
In short: Wolf Pack coach Brian Polian has expressed a great deal of respect for Cal Poly, saying "As I study them on film, I wonder why we agreed to the game, quite frankly," but this was a 4-7 FCS team last year.
