Tristan Hill began playing basketball when he was 4½ years old living in Peoria, Ill., with his father, John, serving as his first coach. That, however, didn’t last long.
“I coached him for the first two years and when he started beating me in H-O-R-S-E, I decided to coach his little brother,” John said with a laugh. “But Tristan just fell in love with the game.
