Wolf Pack outfielder TJ Friedl has been invited to USA Baseball’s team trials and will aim to become the first Nevada player to secure a spot on the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team since 2004.
Friedl and a host of other trial attendees will train in Fullerton, Calif., from June 27-July 2 and compete against teams in the California Collegiate League. USA Baseball will then set its final roster before games at Chinese Taipei, Japan and Cuba for the International Friendship Series from July 5-26.
“It’s definitely an honor to be invited to the Team USA trials,” Friedl said in a news release.
