With key players missing and shots still not falling, Nevada was again undone by a scoring drought in its 73-56 loss at Fresno State in a Mountain West basketball game.
The Wolf Pack trailed, 19-17, after a promising start at the Save Mart Center, but then went scoreless for nearly seven minutes. The Bulldogs eventually took a 33-24 lead into halftime.
The loss, Nevada’s fourth straight, dropped the Pack to 9-11 overall and 3-6 in MW games. Nevada has not scored more than 66 points during its current losing streak.
Desmond Cambridge Jr., coming off the bench, led the Pack with 16 points.
