Tyler Stewart first realized Jaxson Kincaide could be special simply off the sound of his cuts.
That noise first entered Stewart’s head this summer when the Wolf Pack held player-organized practices. Halfway through the summer, the team’s true freshmen joined the veterans in the workouts. And one player, Kincaide, quickly stood out. It wasn’t his physical skills or mental approach that made his older teammates take notice. It was the sound of his cuts.
“We didn't have pads on or anything, but he ran the ball and he was making cuts really hard,” Stewart said. “You could hear it every time he made a cut.
